There is a large demand and small supply of these figurine series. The figurines are among the hip collectibles today and many are hard to find. Figurines are the collectibles of our time. Therefore there are customers signed up for a number of the figurines.

Among the figurine series you find Freddie and his friendsthe Victor and Victoria seriesthe Millenium series and furthermore there are the mother's day and annual figurines, which were also issued for a number of years.

Below you will see some of the figurine series that we have available.

In his spare time you can find Freddie on the golf course, where he trains his drive. He is equiped for the occasion and is dressed up as a true golfer. Here he is putting. Will he get a hole in one?

The Victor and Victoria series from Bing & Grondahl

The Victor and Victoria series was issued between 1997 and 2008 and show different situations in the life of the teddy couple Victor and Victoria. The series was very popular for its cute representation of the bear couple. Below you will find a sample from the series.

Victor the Photografer

The Victor figurine from 2002 shows Victor as the proud father readying to take a picture of Victoria and little Theodor. He has the camera ready to take just the right picture.

Victoria with Theodor

Victoria poses for the photografer with little Theodor in her arms. She is wearing her beautiful flowered hat and Theodor look inquisitively at all the things going on around him.

Victor waving his arms

Victor waves his hands in the air and says goodbye to his friends on their way out traveling. He is in relaxed clothes with his sleeves rolled up in the warm spring air.

Victoria with Handkerchief

Victoria, too, is out waving goodbye. She waves with her fine handkerchief, which she uses to wipe away the tears from her eyes. When will they meet again?

The Millenium series from Royal Copenhagen

The Millenium series started in 2000 and was from the beginning set to last until 2005. The series was as the name suggests made to celebrate the new Millenium. The series quickly became popular and collectors are very interested in these cute figurines. The figurines show the children Emma and Frederik in different situations. The Millenium series consisted of the figurinesplates and plaquettes, where Emma and Frederik were the motifs.

Frederik on turtle

It is summer and the sun is shinning. Emma and Frederik has gone to the sea. Frederik has found a giant turtle to ride across the waves. It might not be fast, but he moves forward and on the sea he breaks the waves.

Emma on the beach

Emma has her flippers on, but has yet to entered the water. She has found a friend in a little turtle that happily greets her. She has also brought her teddy bear and has collected sea urchins and starfish.

Mother's day figurines from Bing & Grondahl

Bing & Grondahl issued mother's day figurines between 1986 and 2007. The figurines match the motifs of the mother's day plates and show all the cute little young animals. Below is a sample of the figurines.

Seal pup

This cute little baby seal is the motif of the mother's day figurine 2001. This little seal is quite adorable as it lies there looking longingly into the distance in search of its mother.

Kangaroo Joey

In Australia you also find mother's day themes. Here we have a small kangaroo looking for its mother in the outback. He probably misses the safety of the pouch, now that he is out in the wide world.

Annual figurines from Bing & Grondahl

Bing & Grondahl issued annual figurines between 1982 and 2010. These annual figurines were not a unified series with a common theme, but many different series in differing style. Between 1993 and 1998 the theme of the annual figurines was animals that were shown in cute situations.

Bear cup

This cute bear happily plays in the fresh grass and bites its foot that probably itches. It is happy to have left hibernation and to finally stretch its aching limbs after a long winter's sleep.

Learn to spot the difference between 1st and 2nd quality

I am often asked about the difference between 1st and 2nd quality of Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grondahl. This has prompted me to write a bit about it. Basically it is about an evaluation of the porcelain made in the factory after production. The finished porcelain was lookes over to see if they live up to the quality demands of the factory. Those that were deemed 2nd quality, where then sold at a lower price than 1st quality. Today only dinner service is sold as 2nd quality in factory sales, but the improved technique for burning the porcelain means that all the yearly cllector's items are sold as 1st quality now. In the past a large part of the production could be of a quality that did not meet the quality demand, which made it necessary to sell it as 2nd quality. However one must remember that the evaluation was made by people, so the evaluation of the porcelain could vary a lot, meaning that there was great difference in when figurines and plates were ju...

The Porcelain Factory Désirée - Svend Jensen - Old Copenhagen Blue

The porcelain factory Désirée , also called Old Copenhagen Blue and Svend Jensen abroad, was once among the best porcelain manufacturers in Denmark. The Désirée name has been used in different contexts over the years and was perhaps best known by the labels of the tableware series they produced. Popular dinnerware by Désirée The logo of Désirée Denmark Svend Jensen Old Copenhagen Blue Amongst the dinnerware which was produced by Désirée was Selandia . Selandia was the first dinnerware the porcelain factory Désirée made. Beautiful 2017 Easter eggs from Royal Copenhagen

The time has arrived, when Royal Copenhagen again issues its popular series of porcelain Easter eggs. The older years of the Easter eggs are hard to find and increase markedly in price as a collector's market has been established. Thus I recommend that you buy now, as the Easter eggs from last year, where sold out very quickly. Like in prior years the motifs are beautiful and delightful flowers, butterflies and birds. The style of the motifs are kept in the clear and pure style that brings the thoughts back to botanical and zoological encyclopedias. See all Royal Copenhagen Easter eggs 2017 here! Royal Copenhagen Easter eggs work well set alongside the flowers of spring. On the pictures above you see a setup together with the  Bing & Grondahl Easter plates  that with right in with their spring motifs. The shown plate is  Easter 1917 .
