Royal Copenhagen Collectibles 2019 - In stock now!

We are happy to present the 2019 motifs of the Annual collectibles from Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grondahl.

The motif of this year's Royal Copenhagen Christmas plate is a horse and a rabbit meeting in the field on a cold winter day. - In my opinion a trully beautiful motif that I think will become popular.

The Royal Copenhagen Christmas series consist of the blue Christmas plate as the main element of the series as well as a Christmas bell, Christmas cup and Christmas drop that all have part of the motif of the Christmas plate.

Bing & Grondahl also issues its plates. This year we have a motif of dad chopping wood in front of the small snowcovered house, where mom and little sister impatiently wait in the door, while the Christmas tree wiats inside along with the warm fireplace.

Bing & Grondahls Christmas series also consists of a Christmas drop and a Christmas bell that share motif with the Christmas plate.

A new mother's day plate and children's day plate were also issued for the year 2019. As always the mother's day plate has motif of a animal mother with her young. This time it is the hippo that is the model. The children's day plate is a small pilot flying high above the small town.

 Georg Jensen Christmas decorations

You can find a more through information about maintaining your Christmas decoraitons on our homepage:

How to maintain your Georg Jensen Christmas decorations

Most important is that you must NEVER polish your Georg Jensen Christmas decorations! Georg Jensen Christmas decorations are gilded and if you polish it, you destroy the gilded surface.

What you can do is to wash it, so that grease that have covered the surface is washed away.

It is not just the Christmas decorations themselves that should be maintained! The boxes and ribbons should also be kept in order. You can iron the ribbons to keep them tidy. See more about this on our homepage.
