Plates are on their way back in interior design and not just as wall decoration! As mentioned before they have many uses. There is an incorrect rumor that you cannot use Christmas/Annual/Mother´s Day plates for food. I would like to clarify once more... THIS IS NOT TRUE, you can safely eat from all Danish bluepainted underglaze plates! That being the normal Christmas plates and mother's day plates.   The blue plates from  Royal Copenhagen ,  Bing & Grondahl ,  Desiree  etc. are actually meant to be eaten from... and are a good alternative for boring normal plates.
